  • Someone needs to explain to Frank the difference between jokes and levity.

Mia is Dom’s sister and has been since the beginning. If you don’t know this by episode 9, I don’t know what to tell you.

It was explained in the very first movie about Dom’s past and beating someone with a wrench. So to say “it doesn’t fit his character” makes no sense.

Regarding the three “scientist guys”, two of them are from Tokyo Drift. The Asian guy is from Justin Lin’s first move called “Better Luck Tomorrow”, that movie also introduced the character of Han (way before F&F was a thing).

You guys had some legit criticism here. But other bits were flat out false. Go listen to the premium episode for the F&F movies at Band Camp dot com for a minimum donation of just 99 cents to have some real knowledge dropped on your ass ;)

  • Sean

    Haha that’s some good advice.

Just to clarify, when I was saying some things didn’t fit Dom’s character it was more that he did actually turn his back on his brother when family is his big thing. And I know that is kind of the hook for this story and it plays as a bit of a mystery for part of the movie, but when all is revealed it seems like they really could have just talked it out.

  • Dom himself did also turn his back on his family in The F8te of the Furious – albeit because of his son (who is also family). Sometimes family just happens to get in the way of family. There’s nothing one can do except live life a quarter mile at the time, redlining through existence.
