Clifford the Big Red Dog Trailer

You know him, you love him, and after nearly 60 years, he is finally getting his own live-action movie. Clifford the Big Red Dog is an upcoming movie based on the classic children’s books by Norman Bridwell where, of course, the title character is a giant CG-animated red dog. Directed by Walt Becker (Wild Hogs, Old Dogs), the movie stars Darby Camp (The Christmas Chronicles) as Emily Elizabeth, a girl who is getting bullied at school and finds that her magical love of a puppy makes him grow a little bigger than expected. Together with her Uncle Casey (Jack Whitehall), they must protect Clifford from a genetics company looking to supersize animals. (Yes, really.) Clifford the Big Red Dog also stars Izaac Wang, John Cleese, Paul Rodriguez, Tony Hale, Russell Peters, Sienna Guillory, Kenan Thompson and Rosie Perez. The movie hits theatres on Sept. 17th; check out the trailer below and see what you think.
