Joe Bell Trailer Starring Mark Wahlberg

Mark Wahlberg’s sci-fi action movie Infinite arrived on Paramount+ earlier this month to fairly dismal reviews, but he has another movie heading to theatres this summer that looks like a dramatic showcase with some awards season potential. The movie is called Joe Bell and it premiered at TIFF last year to mixed reviews although it has reportedly been retooled to some extent since then. Based on a true story, the movie finds Wahlberg playing a father who decides to walk across America in order to raise awareness about bullying after his son Jadin commits suicide. Reid Miller, who plays his son, has been praised for his performance in particular. Directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green (Monsters and Men), the movie also stars Connie Britton and Gary Sinise and it hits theatres on July 23rd. Check out the trailer below and see what you think.
