The Green Knight Trailer

After being delayed by over a year, A24 has finally dropped a full trailer for David Lowery’s upcoming fantasy film The Green Knight. The movie is based on the story of King Arthur’s nephew Sir Gawain (played by Dev Patel) as he sets off on a quest to confront a giant green-skinned stranger. Given Lowery’s previous films like A Ghost Story, Pete’s Dragon and Ain’t Them Bodies Saints, it seems safe to assume that this will be a slightly different take on Arthurian legend and one that will potentially be a Feast for Thine Eyes™ without the benefit of a massive budget. The Green Knight also stars Joel Edgerton, Alicia Vikander, Ralph Ineson, Sarita Choudhury, Sean Harris, Kate Dickie, Barry Keoghan and Erin Kellyman and it hits theatres on July 30th; check out the new trailer below and let us know what you think.
