With an end to the pandemic now seemingly on the horizon, we’re starting to see a lot of the streaming services rolling out the big studio acquisitions that they’ve had in their back pocket since last year. Next month Netflix will release Joe Wright’s The Woman in the Window, a Hitchcockian thriller that they picked up from 20th Century Studios last summer. Based on the best-selling novel by A.J. Finn, the movie stars Amy Adams as an agoraphobic woman who believes that she has witnessed a murder in the house across the street. As you can probably guess, however, things may not be what they seem. The movie co-stars Anthony Mackie, Gary Oldman, Wyatt Russell, Brian Tyree Henry and Julianne Moore and it arrives on Netflix on May 14th. Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think.
