Director Neil Burger (not to be confused with Neil Hamburger) has dabbled in science-fiction before with movies like Limitless and Divergent, but his latest film finds him going into space with an original (albeit somewhat familiar) sci-fi concept. Voyagers takes place in the near future where a group of young men and women have been bred for the sole purpose of travelling through space to start a new colony on a distant planet. During that journey, however, they start to realize that they are being drugged and forced to suppress their emotions, leading them to resist as the ship descends into chaos. The movie stars Colin Farrell, Tye Sheridan, Lily-Rose Depp, Fionn Whitehead, Isaac Hempstead Wright and Chante Adams and it will debut in theatres on April 9th (no VOD release planned as of yet).
