New to VOD and Streaming: Minari, Wrong Turn, Tom & Jerry
With the Golden Globes happening this weekend and Oscar nominations just a couple of weeks away, Lee Isaac Chung’s Minari is looking to leverage awards season buzz with a timely VOD release. In addition to the acclaimed drama, Neon is putting another awards contender Night of the Kings in virtual theatres while Saban Films is releasing a reboot of the long-running horror franchise Wrong Turn. This weekend WB is also releasing their live-action / animated hybrid Tom & Jerry on HBO Max while Hulu has The United States vs Billie Holiday, Shudder has Bryan Bertino’s latest horror film The Dark and the Wicked and Apple TV+ has the documentary Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry.
