The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers Trailer

Here’s the first teaser trailer for yet another upcoming sequel to a beloved Disney classic (using the term “sequel” and “classic” loosely). The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers is an original Disney+ series that continues the trilogy of ’90s movies about an underdog youth hockey team, picking up a few decades later. The Mighty Ducks are now an unstoppable team that is forced to turn less talented players away and the show follows a new team formed by the kids who couldn’t make the cut. Emilio Estevez reprises his role as Coach Gordon Bombay, while Lauren Graham plays the mother of one of the players. The show was created by Steven Brill, who wrote the original films before becoming a mainstay at Happy Madison, while Josh Goldsmith and Cathy Yuspa (The King of Queens) are acting as co-creators and showrunners. The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers arrives on Disney+ on March 26th; check out the trailer below and see what you think.

All I need is to look at this image of dude in a flannel. Hard pass. Hard pass on this endless grave-digging of old culture. We’re going to run out eventually? Right?! Let’s dig of Beethoven while we’re at it. Charles Grodin is only 86.
