  • So here’s the deal… if you guys were creaming about the white lightsabers and dark saber and Ahsoka Tano (my personal favorite Jedi), you have to go back and watch Rebels. There’s half a season all about the lore of The Mandalorians and how the Dark Saber ties in to it and who Bo Katan is, etc. Not to mention Ahsoka and Anakin and Ben Kenobi and Darth Maul. Legit I’d say it’s some of the best Star Wars has to offer in terms of character and story. Also the art direction at times is just glorious. Dave Filoni should have been in charge of the sequel trilogy from day one.

    “If it was Ezra Bridger that showed up in the end it would be sooo disappointing.” HARD disagree. Disappointing for you maybe, for those of us (Greg) that care, Ezra showing up would have been awesome. (Was kind of hoping Sabine would show up at some point too). And Frank, just hit up YouTube for more Ahsoka Tano and her duel white light saber wielding (the way she holds them too is just boss).

    Having said all that, there is a problem with Rebels. It’s WAY TOO FUCKING LONG. It’s like five seasons of 24 episode each and probably 2/3 of it are filler (rebels infiltrate a base and shoot a bunch of storm troopers and blow shit up and escape with some supplies). I admit there is way way WAY too much of that shit. But if you can find an online guide or something that will walk you through the “important” episodes, it’s absolutely terrific. Way better than the sequel trilogy or Solo or Rogue One. Same goes for Clone Wars – the story bits are stunning, but it’s unfortunately only like 15% of the entire series.

  • As for the ending of Mano S2, I’m with Greg there too. I feel like that’s the end of that story line. Why have it go on any further? It was a perfect ending. All tied in a bow complete with fan pandering. Loved it.

    It didn’t even occur to me that it might continue. If that’s the case then I agree with Frank it would be a weird move.

    I thought he CG face at the end was ok, it just looked a bit weird on the close up at the very end, they should have kept it to longer shots.

  • @dax Did you catch the Sandpeople using the gaffi stick as a toothbrush for the Bantha? It was in like ep 1 or 2.

    Don’t know how you guys missed the TPS report thing. It was pretty blatant.

    And for fuck sake you rookies, look into Grand Admiral Thrawn. He’s been around since like 1990 or so. And he will most likely be the main villain on s3.

    And per my previous comments about Grogu, I kinda hope he goes dark side and that would be a great plot point.

    i’m actually shocked the archbishop of animation thought it looked the best ever. i found it horrible and it nearly destroyed the whole scene for me.

    Finally something I have seen, and it is amazing to hear Greg and also Dax.

    That ending though felt like a gutpunch. The computerman look is so disgusting, and without Baby Yoda, I think it’ll be hard to get interested in the show. I mean WTF, are they really buying into their own crazy continuity from the new garbage movies? This cool baby powerwizard is going to die because of Kylo Ren? Makes no sense to me, and also seems like a bad idea to let the good things they make go away to respect all the bad things they make… TL;DR I miss Baby Yoda alot, and he should be in the show always.

    Laughed a ton at the intellectual dark side joe grogu stuff, and also seandalorian. Top notch!
