In regards to the question, “would you ever buy a blu-ray instead of the 4k release?” The answer is yes. The Criterion version of Pan’s Labyrinth for example is much better than the 4K version.

So I’m waiting on reviews for Criterion Parasite before buying either version. I would say, just to add to my collection, I’ll probably be going with The Criterion version anyway.

If your TV is 55″ or smaller, it’s hard to tell the difference anyway. The only thing that matters at that point is the HDR/Dolby Vision factor.

I’m with Frank on food delivery apps. They fuck you every time. My order is wrong about 65% of the time; the food is usually cold and the “fees” you get charged are absolutely ridiculous.

I swore off those apps (American ones are DoorDash, GrubHub, BiteSquad) about two months ago and so far I’ve stuck to my guns. I now only order from places that have their own delivery service or I go pick it up.
