Justice League: The Snyder Cut Teaser Trailer

As promised, Warner Brothers and Zack Snyder dropped the first trailer for the upcoming Snyder Cut of Justice League during DC FanDome earlier today. The movie will restore Snyder’s original vision for the movie and will reportedly be released initially as four one-hour episodes followed by a single combined cut. While it is difficult to tell from the teaser just how different it will be from a story standpoint, there is definitely a lot of new footage to dissect here including a better look at Darkseid and Superman in his black suit as well as some new or alternate scenes with Cyborg and The Flash (among others). At this point some elements still look a little rough around the edges but Snyder’s darker, self-serious tone clearly shines through (the use of “Hallelujah” may have been pushing it). Fans are probably going to be split on whether this represents what they wanted to see in the first place but it is sure to be an interesting curiosity either way. Zack Snyder’s Justice League arrives on HBO Max sometime in 2021; check out the teaser after the jump and see what you think.

I would love if the Film Junk Crew could discuss these new DC Trailers on next weeks podcast episode. Would even like to hear your take on the new Suicide Squad Feature video!

I was really hoping this would just be a regular length film, on par with what would have been released in theatres. If Snyder had stayed on there’s no way the studio was going to release a 4 hour version of Justice League. I’d really love to see the what Snyder’s true version of a Justice League movie would have been not a miniseries.

That would be nice, but probably not going to happen. They got rid of news along with junk mail and trailer trash. Gotta keep the eps to a tight 90 mins now. Hot Topics are even a thing of the past now it seems. It is what it is.
