It’s not a coincidence many of them are given to relatively new indie directors with no experience in special effects. It’s like with most of the Bond movies, that with some notable exceptions are actually directed by Eon Productions. The only MCU movies with any sort of filmmaker stamp are the Guardians of the Galaxy flicks and maybe the first Avengers.
