Kevin Smith is heading back to the horror genre with his latest film, Killroy Was Here, another anthology film in the vein of Holidays from a few years ago. In this case it appears that he ended up directing all of the segments himself, although the movie was a collaboration with students from the Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida. Based on the Killroy character popularized through graffiti during WWII, it originally grew out of his “Anti-Claus” project, which was retooled after Michael Dougherty’s Krampus hit theatres in 2015 with a very similar concept. Killroy Was Here stars Azita Ghanizada, Ryan O’Nan, Harley Quinn Smith, Chris Jericho, Justin Kucsulain, Jason Mewes and Ralph Garman and it features a creature design by Robert Kurtzman. The movie is expected to be released in early 2021; check out the trailer after the jump and see what you think.
