Bill and Ted Face the Music Trailer #2

billandtedtrailer2

Orion Pictures announced this week that Bill and Ted Face the Music will still be debuting in (some) theatres, but in light of the continued coronavirus shutdown in many areas, it will be arriving on premium VOD as well. To coincide with that announcement, they have released a brand new trailer for the movie that gives more screen time to the women of the movie including Samara Weaving and Brigette Lundy-Paine (who are playing Bill and Ted’s significant others daughters) as well as Kristen Schaal who seems to be taking over for the late George Carlin as the new Rufus. We also get to see a little bit of William Sadler, who is reprising his role from the last film as Death. There may or may not be a few other tidbits revealed during the upcoming Comic-Con@Home panel tomorrow. Bill and Ted Face the Music hits select theatres and VOD on Tues. Sept. 1st; check out the new trailer below and let us know what you think.

Looking better, but hoping it’s not all riding on nostalgia and that there will be surprises. The ladies are looking a bit too young for the Stallions.

I also did a double-take when I saw how young the princesses looked. I checked, and they’re for sure not the same women that played them before, although they also switched actresses from the first to the second one. But yeah, more age appropriate would have been good.

  • Jay Cheel

They’re playing their daughters, not their significant others. Sean is editorializing.

I knew there was something I wasn’t getting about that couples therapy joke…

  • It’s their daughters. Dude.

    Whoa!

  • Deven Science

They do show their wives in the trailer at 13 seconds, and they are younger.

This trailer is great. It clearly doesn’t spoil any of the movie jokes! Its not funny at all.

I adore the first two movies but after years of disappointment from classic movies getting sequels coming 20 years later, I have zero expectations this will be any good.

    ????

  • The real question is if there will be a cameo by Station in this.

  • Lori Cerny

I didn’t catch that they are their daughters from that trailer. Now they seem too old.
