Although their last mockumentary-style television project didn’t last very long, a brand new Muppets series is set to launch on Disney+ next month. The upcoming show is called Muppets Now and the new angle this time around is that it is said to be unscripted and largely improvised, revolving around three different segments: a game show, a cooking show, and a talk show. As you would expect, there are plenty of celebrity guests involved as well including RuPaul, Taye Diggs, Aubrey Plaza and Seth Rogen. The first season of Muppets Now will consist of six episodes, all of which arrive on Disney+ on July 31st. Check out the trailer after the jump and see what you think.
