Last year Netflix did their best to fill the post-Game of Thrones void with the first season of the The Witcher, which seemed to be a big hit despite mixed reviews. Now this summer they are launching another big live-action fantasy series with Cursed, a new take on the Arthurian legend but told from the perspective of Nimue (the woman who eventually becomes The Lady of the Lake). Created by Frank Miller (Sin City) and Tom Wheeler (The Cape) and based on their own illustrated novel, the show stars Katherine Langford in the lead role. Arthur and Merlin also appear in supporting roles, played by Devon Terrell and Gustaf Skarsgård respectively. Cursed arrives on Netflix on July 17th; check out the trailer after the jump and see what you think.
