Bill & Ted Face the Music Trailer

billtedfacethemusic

At long last, the first trailer for the upcoming Bill & Ted sequel, Bill & Ted Face the Music, has finally arrived online just in time to celebrate Bill & Ted Day! (6/9… get it? Yeah I don’t know if this one will catch on.) 29 years after the release of Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey, Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter are back and they are apparently travelling back in time to steal a song from their younger selves in order to unite the world. Oh, and Death is here too, along with original screenwriters Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon. The movie looks to be maintaining its Aug. 21st release date, so if Christopher Nolan’s Tenet ends up being too early, perhaps this is the movie that will ultimately save cinema. What could be more appropriate? Bill & Ted Face the Music is directed by Dean Parisot (Galaxy Quest); check out the trailer after the jump and let us know what you think.

  • Keanu Reeves without a beard looks wrong.

  • Matt the Kiwi

I wondered what was troubling me about this trailer – thanks for clearing that up.

  • Deven Science

Yeah, his features have gotten very sharp. Ted can’t have a beard? He had one at the end of the 2nd movie.

Anyway, this doesn’t look amazing, but I’ll watch it. I mean, people shit on Bogus Journey, but I like that one.
