I actually thought you guys were gonna cancel the Spike Lee Premium.

Sean: “In light of recent events, we’re cancelling the premium so we don’t look like we’re profiteering.”

    Classic Sean.

Frank chimes in, “we’re doing a McG Premium in honor of #MCGA – Make Canada Great Again!”

  • Sam

Threw out the recommendation on the Patreon, but strongly recommend the guys check out Road Games, also by Richard Franklin with Stacy Keach and Jamie Lee Squirtis. Not sure if any of them have seen it as none of them have it logged on Letterboxd, but well worth checking out and would keep the Richard Franklin train rolling.

I second this. I also think a review of William Friedkin’s The Guardian would make for a wonderful discussion on horror films.

finally we’ll get juicy drive-in stories again.

Sean, since you’re on an Otto Preminger tear…watch Anatomy of a Murder if you haven’t seen it. It’s LONG, but pretty terrific as a courtroom drama, and pretty frank for the fifties. It takes its time but always engrossing. I prefer it to Laura or Bunny Lake.

  • Sean

Yep, it’s definitely next on my list.

Really happy to hear you guys will be making a donation with the fund from the next premium. Really good stuff. Love y’all.
