After premiering in Fortnite last night, the new trailer for Christopher Nolan’s Tenet arrived online shortly afterward. It still feels like there is a lot being kept under wraps here, but there are some new plot details being revealed including the fact that John David Washington’s character has been recruited due to his unique ability to manipulate time and communicate with the future. It does not appear to be time travel as we know it… instead it is referred to as “inversion.” The whole thing still feels a lot like Inception and combines a mind-bending concept with big action sequences. Unfortunately, if you were hoping for confirmation of a release date, the trailer does not commit to a date at this point. For now, Warner Brothers is still saying that Tenet will arrive on July 17th; check out the new trailer after the jump and let us know what you think.
