Almost 10 years after Steve Carell left The Office, he is reteaming with series creator Greg Daniels for a brand new comedy series called Space Force. The show is also a workplace comedy of sorts, presenting a fictitious take on the inner workings of the United States Space Force (which was officially launched as a new branch of the U.S. military by Donald Trump last year). Based on the trailer, it actually feels a lot like a slightly sci-fi version of Veep, which is ironic considering that Armando Iannucci launched a sci-fi comedy of his own this year called Avenue 5. Space Force features a pretty huge cast of comedic talent that includes Carell, John Malkovich, Ben Schwartz, Jimmy O. Yang, Fred Willard, Lisa Kudrow, Jane Lynch, Don Lake, Noah Emmerich and Dan Bakkedahl. The show arrives on Netflix on May 29th; check out the trailer below and see what you think.
