With the recent arrivals of Apple TV+, Disney+ and Quibi (not to mention HBO Max debuting next month), NBC is taking the opportunity to unveil their own streaming service a little earlier than anticipated. Peacock was originally planned to launch after the Summer Olympics on July 15th, but with the Olympics postponed and many of their productions shut down, it is unclear what that July launch will look like. In the meantime, they have started a free preview of the service for Comcast’s Xfinity X1 cable customers and Flex streaming customers while also dropping a handful of trailers for original programs like reboots of Saved by the Bell and Punky Brewster and a new adaptation of Brave New World starring Demi Moore and Alden Ehrenreich. Peacock will also be home to many classic NBC and Universal titles like The Office, Saturday Night Live and the Jurassic Park movies. Does this sound like something you might be willing to pay for? Check out the trailers after the jump and see what you think.
