No mention of Proyas’ youtube channel?
He basically just makes youtube shorts and vlogs now, if you were wondering how that hollywood career was working out for him post Gods of Egypt.

  • Mister Quigley Jr.

Came for the Nic Cage pandering.
Stayed for the regional supermarkets factoids and anti-raccoon sentiments.

  • Beat_C

you’re my weekly highlight, right now more than ever. a BIG thank you!
audio quality was not great, but listenable. frank was much louder than jay. and sean – quelle suprise! – somewhere inbetween.

Don’t separate the spoiler discussions for these old movie reviews.

  • Lori Cerny

    When will Store Junk release?

Do not listen to this episode with headphones. Frank’s coughs will give you ear cancer.

  • Lori Cerny

    Nature be gaslighting Frankie.

  • Sean

Apologies, it’s not Frank’s fault. He actually did use the mute button but then I ended up having to use his backup recording which did not have his coughs muted. And I didn’t realize he was coughing a lot more than I thought.

  • Beat_C

he really should see a doctor, it sounds awful.

  • colin the dude

Ha! They were SO loud but I still get backhanded enjoyment out of it.

It’s too bad that Shudder flubbed the release of Cursed Films: Episode #3 this morning. They accidentally reposted the Exorcist episode and had to take it down; Poltergeist is back up now though. Loved Jay shoehorning in “City Slickers” as an interview reference lol (The Omen).

Dumpster dive recommendation: Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk
Also, The Wild Goose Lake is a noir set in Wuhan of all places and is well worth checking out. It’s now available through Film Movement’s virtual cinema partnership with local theatres.

Agree with Jay, Tunnel is another solid Korean genre movie.

  • Beat_C

i’m still waiting for a dumpster dive review of “Welcome to Marwen”. frank has been teasing that one several times.

  • Nobody

Oh yeah, I remember that being an option. Frank did seem excited at the prospect of reviewing it.
