Guy Ritchie returns to the gangster genre that launched his career this weekend with the release of The Gentlemen starring Matthew McConaughey, Charlie Hunnam, Henry Golding, Colin Farrell and Hugh Grant. The movie goes up against the Universal / Amblin horror movie The Turning as well as returning box office champ Bad Boys for Life, which is expect to repeat at #1. Vietnam war drama The Last Full Measure is also opening on 600 screens with a star-studded cast that includes Jeremy Irvine, Samuel L. Jackson, Sebastian Stan, Christopher Plummer, Ed Harris, Bradley Whitford, Diane Ladd, William Hurt, Peter Fonda and Amy Madigan although it seems to be mostly flying under the radar. In select theatres, we have Richard Stanley’s H.P. Lovecraft adaptation Color Out of Space starring Nicolas Cage (which is also out on VOD). What will you be watching this weekend?
