New to Theatres This Weekend: Bad Boys for Life, Dolittle, Weathering with You

The long-awaited Bad Boys for Life hits theatres this weekend, reuniting Will Smith and Martin Lawrence after almost 17 years. With such a big gap between sequels and Michael Bay no longer in the director’s chair, it’s hard to say how this buddy cop franchise will hold up although reviews have been somewhat decent. Also in wide release we have the family comedy Dolittle, Robert Downey Jr.’s first non-Marvel movie since The Judge in 2014. In select theatres, we also have Weathering with You, Makoto Shinkai’s follow-up to his acclaimed anime film Your Name., plus The Wave starring Justin Long and retro found footage comedy VHYes from director Jack Henry Robbins. What will you be watching this weekend?

I’m excited to see what a non-Michael Bay directed Bad Boys is like. Also hoping to see a good Will Smith movie, because it’s been a while. Any plans to have Dax on for a review of Bad Boys?

Yep, hopefully in the near future.
