Here’s the new trailer for the upcoming Top Gun sequel, Top Gun: Maverick, which finds Tom Cruise returning to one of his most iconic roles some 34 years later. Although we originally heard that the movie would revolve around drone warfare in some way, we still haven’t seen much of that. Instead we get Maverick returning to teach a new group of recruits including Miles Teller as Bradley Bradshaw, the son of his late partner Goose. Directed by Joseph Kosinski (Oblivion), the movie is another chance for Cruise to do as many of his own stunts as possible, although whether that will fully translate when it comes to aerial photography remains to be seen. Top Gun: Maverick co-stars Jon Hamm, Val Kilmer, Jennifer Connelly, Glen Powell and Ed Harris and it hits theatres on June 26th. Check out the new trailer below and let us know what you think.
