Jordan Peele’s Hunters Teaser Starring Al Pacino

Although Jordan Peele’s recent forays into TV have had somewhat mixed results (Weird City, The Twilight Zone, The Last O.G.), he has a couple of very promising new shows lined up for next year. One is the HBO series Lovecraft Country, which is said to combine the racial tensions of the ’50s with Lovecraftian monsters, and the other is the upcoming Amazon show Hunters starring Al Pacino. This week Amazon debuted a very short teaser trailer for the latter, which revolves around a group of Nazi hunters in 1977 New York City. They are in pursuit of an underground network of high-ranking Nazi officials living in the U.S. trying to bring about a Fourth Reich. Created by David Weil (Moonfall), the show is executive produced by Peele but it is unclear just how involved he might be creatively. Hunters debuts on Amazon sometime in 2020; check out the teaser below and see what you think.
