See Trailer: Apple’s Post-Apocalyptic Sci-Fi Series Starring Jason Momoa

At last week’s big Apple press conference, the tech giant finally announced a launch date and pricing for their upcoming streaming service Apple TV+. It will cost just $4.99 a month ($5.99 CAD) and anyone who buys a new Apple device will also get a year’s subscription for free. That being said, their pool of original content is not nearly as deep as Netflix, Amazon or Disney with just a handful of new shows and movies debuting when it goes live. One of those shows is See, a post-apocalyptic series that takes place in a world where humankind has lost their sense of sight. Created by Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders, Serenity) and directed by Francis Lawrence (The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 and 2, I Am Legend), it stars Jason Momoa as the father of two twins who are miraculously born with the ability to see again. See will be available when Apple TV+ goes live on Nov. 1st; check out the full trailer below and let us know what you think.

Disney left the Apple Board of Directors over this undercut of the Disney streaming service being launched. Conflict of interest. Same thing happened when Google came out with their own phones, they left. Think Apple is putting out their streaming service platform a week or two ahead of Disney. Apple apparently could buy out Disney in a heartbeat, if you thought Disney was huge, Apple is way bigger. Big win maybe for Frank and his Apple TV.

Blind Battles? Hmmm..never seen that on a large scale. If Apple can pull a lot of top talent..we might see some pretty good stuff launched on their platform.
