It’s looking like It: Chapter Two or bust if you’re heading to the multiplex this weekend as no other major releases had the guts to go up against the sequel to the biggest horror film of all time. That’s not a surprise considering that the original made an incredible $123 million back in 2017 although this movie is expected to open a bit lower (possibly around $90 million). The only new alternatives are coming in the form of some small movies in limited release including the Bollywood coming-of-age dramedy Chhichhore, the Henry Cavill / Alexandra Daddario thriller Night Hunter, and the Linda Ronstadt documentary Linda Ronstadt: The Sound of My Voice. Also getting a re-release this weekend in New York City is Joseph Losey’s 1976 French film Mr. Klein. What will you be watching this weekend?
