New to Theatres This Weekend: Us, Dragged Across Concrete, Triple Threat

moviesus

After two weeks at the top of the box office, Captain Marvel is finally taking heavy fire this weekend with Jordan Peele’s highly anticipated follow-up to Get Out hitting theatres. Us is currently on track for a $50 million debut but it would not be surprising at all if it went even higher. There are no other new movies in wide release but for some reason the 1999 thriller Cruel Intentions is getting a 20th anniversary re-release in over 700 theatres. Arriving simultaneously in select theatres and on VOD, we also have S. Craig Zahler’s Dragged Across Concrete starring Mel Gibson and Vince Vaughn and the martial arts action flick Triple Threat starring Iko Uwais, Tony Jaa and Tiger Chen. What will you be watching this weekend?
