Although R-rated comedies are no longer putting up The Hangover-type numbers these days, you can still count on at least a couple of them hitting theatres every summer. This year Seth Rogen is producing a movie that feels like a spiritual successor to his 2007 hit Superbad, but the twist is that the kids are much younger and more naive. Good Boys stars Jacob Tremblay, Brady Noon and Keith L. Williams as three slightly nerdy sixth-graders who embark on a coming-of-age adventure when they try to steal some alcohol to bring to a party. Things get out of hand and hijinks ensue (obviously). Good Boys is written by Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky (The Office, Hello Ladies) with Stupnitsky directing and it hits theatres on Aug. 16th.
