Richard Linklater’s Where’d You Go, Bernadette Trailer

We’ve been waiting for a while now to see anything from Richard Linklater’s next film, an adaptation of Maria Semple’s 2012 novel Where’d You Go, Bernadette. The movie was originally supposed to hit theatres this year, but a couple of delays had some people wondering if the project might be in trouble. Cate Blanchett stars as the titular Bernadette, an agoraphobic architect and mother who vanishes prior to a family trip to Antarctica, prompting her husband and fifteen-year-old daughter to pick up the trail. Where’d You Go, Bernadette also co-stars Billy Crudup, Laurence Fishburne, Kristen Wiig, Judy Greer, James Urbaniak and newcomer Emma Nelson and it hits theatres on March 22nd. Check out the first trailer after the jump and let us know what you think.
