Please make sure you talk about Tom Cruise’s recent PSA on next week’s episode. Frank especially needs to watch.

  • pcch7

Good to hear Zak and Nuno again, it’s been a while

  • devolutionary

Be well Nuno. My mom was diagnosed as pre-diabetic a few years ago and had to cut out almost every meal she used to prepare for my dad and herself. My dad had some surgeries and health problems so this all worked out. It’s something that will remain with you for the rest of your life but can be suppressed and controlled with healthy living and eating.

funny, just yesterdyay i listened to the “sausage party” episode and wondered what had happened to nuno. oh, and happy 40th, dear sean! “you’re really the backbone of filmjunk” indeed.

  • schizopolis

    Much needed PSA.

  • schizopolis

Happy 40th Sean! The Jedi Master of Film Junk.

  • devolutionary

Just a reminder for the Glossary Sean.
Disney’s vice grip restrictions on theatres, chain or otherwise is ridiculous (mandatory dedicated screen for every rental week, 60-65% of all ticket sales up front, preference of designated opening week theatre screenings).

I kind of feel like this is the Nicecore episode of the year; no anger, no conflict, no clashing egos. Just good vibes.

  • MartyMcFlyJr

Funny that Zak thought this might be better suited as a mini series, because there is one. This was adapted from an old British mini series.

Widows is terribly written. If Steve McQueen hadn’t directed it, I think critics would have torn the film to shreds.

  • Great episode! Vibecasts, Chillcasts, Mostercasts, I’ll take whatever you guys decide to dish out.

  • Jr

If he’s not already at the top, he should go up a Scientology level for this.

  • My suggestions for computer screen found footage movies:

EASILY the best film-related podcast on the net <3

Captain Marvel will play a big part in Avengers:Endgame, so Marvel needs to get her origin story/prequel out there before Avengers comes out.

  • Nobody

    “Did you call me Frank?”

Reed won the poll vs. Zak and he’s the one who’s disappearing, typical Reed behavior (not that I don’t like Zak).

  • Lori Cerny

Your description and review of “Leave No Trace” sounds exactly like 2012s “Beasts of the Southern Wild.”

  • Sean

Yeah in a weird way it reminded me of that movie, Room and Brigsby Bear but without all the made up fairytale stuff used by the parents in those movies.

  • Kevin Cardoza

Could not disagree more about Shame. I like Fassbender’s acting in it, but found the actual movie boring. Part of it is the subject matter, though. Bobby Sands starving himself to death to get the government to respect him? Rough to sit through. An educated black man kidnapped and forced into slavery? Rough to sit through. Some rich white dude who takes too many risks having sex and doesn’t even suffer major repercussions from it? Hard to have much empathy.
