When Netflix released the new season of Making a Murderer a few months ago, it seemed a bit surprising that they wouldn’t wait for the holidays to try and replicate the word of mouth success of season 1. This week, however, they have unveiled the trailer for another true crime documentary series that will be arriving just in time for some wholesome Christmas family viewing. The Innocent Man is a six-episode series directed by Clay Tweel (Make Believe, Finders Keepers) and based on a non-fiction book written by John Grisham. It revolves around two murders that took place in Ada, Oklahoma in the 1980s and the four men who were convicted of the crimes through somewhat questionable circumstances. The Innocent Man arrives on Netflix on Dec. 14th; check out the trailer after the jump and see what you think.
