With Venom hitting theatres this weekend (and early reactions not sounding too promising), Sony has just released a new trailer for their other big comic book movie coming out this year… Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. This is a standalone CG-animated movie produced by Phil Lord and Chris Miller that brings together all the various incarnations of Spider-Man over the years including Miles Morales, Spider-Gwen, Spider-Man Noir, Peni Parker and yes, even Spider-Ham. The movie has an interesting cel-shaded art style and a pretty stacked voice cast that includes Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, Nicolas Cage, Jake Johnson, Liev Schreiber, Lily Tomlin, Mahershala Ali, Kimiko Glenn and John Mulaney. Could this be the must-see movie of the holiday season? Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse hits theatres on Dec. 14th; check out the new trailer after the jump and let us know what you think.
