Charles Bronson may have passed away back in 2003, but if you were holding out hope for one last Death Wish sequel, well… you’re in luck. Sort of. Someone out there had the brilliant idea of recruiting Charles Bronson lookalike Robert Kovacs to star in a Death Wish knockoff called Death Kiss. Directed by Rene Perez (Playing With Dolls: Havoc), the movie revolves around “a vigilante with a mysterious past who goes to a crime-infested city and takes the law into his own hands.” I have to admit, the lookalike gimmick definitely embraces the spirit of the exploitation genre and it kind of makes you wonder what other celebrity lookalikes could have b-movie careers of their own.
