New to Theatres This Weekend: The House with a Clock In Its Walls, Life Itself, Fahrenheit 11/9

We’ve got an interesting assortment of new releases hitting theatres this week, although none of them are really expected to draw huge crowds. Eli Roth’s The House with a Clock In Its Walls is likely to be the biggest of the bunch, a PG-rated horror fantasy film that is hoping to capture some of the Goosebumps audience. Also hitting theatres we have Michael Moore’s latest documentary Fahrenheit 11/9, which is definitely not attracting the same level of attention that Fahrenheit 9/11 received back in 2004, and Dan Fogelman’s Life Itself, which is currently getting trounced by critics. Sundance hit Assassination Nation is also debuting on over 1400 screens and in select theatres we have Jacques Audiard’s The Sisters Brothers starring Joaquin Phoenix and John C. Reilly. What will you be watching this weekend?
