First Look at Joaquin Phoenix in Full Make-Up as The Joker
Earlier this week, director Todd Phillips released the first official photo of Joaquin Phoenix from the upcoming Joker origin movie. Of course, he was toying with fans a little bit because it did not feature the Joker we all know and love, but rather a slightly odd-looking guy named Arthur. Today, however, he has gone a step further, releasing an on-camera test featuring Joaquin Phoenix in full make-up set to the song “Laughing” by The Guess Who. This is the best indicator we have had so far as to what the tone of the movie might be and it is intriguing to say the least. Joker hits theatres on October 4th, 2019 and stars Joaquin Phoenix, Robert DeNiro, Zazie Beetz, Frances Conroy, Marc Maron and Shea Whigham.
