Tuesday Morning Box Office Report: Crazy Rich Asians Still Raking It In

Crazy Rich Asians finished off the summer at the top of the box office, dropping just 10% from last weekend to pull in an estimated $28.3 million over the long weekend ($22.2 million over three days). The movie has now made $117 million domestically, although it has only made another $20 million internationally so far. Warner Brothers also held down second place once again with The Meg, which earned $13.4 million ($10.5 million for the three day). Mission: Impossible – Fallout jumped back up to third but also had a huge weekend internationally, opening in China with $77.3 million. The movie is about to pass Rogue Nation to become the highest grossing M:I movie worldwide. Rounding out the top 5, both Operation Finale and Searching put up decent yet somewhat unremarkable numbers. Elsewhere, Kin was a complete bomb, finishing outside the top 10 with just $3.6 million.
