When it was announced last year that director Nicolas Winding Refn (Drive) and comic writer Ed Brubaker (Criminal) were teaming up for an original crime series for Amazon, it was immediately apparent how this could be a perfect fit. The show is called Too Old to Die Young and it apparently stars Miles Teller as a grieving LAPD officer who gets drawn into the city’s criminal underworld. This week Nicolas Winding Refn has shared our first taste of what is to come in the form of a somewhat unofficial teaser trailer and, as expected, it showcases some beautiful but gruesome imagery. The only disappointing thing is that this 10-episode series doesn’t actually premiere until 2019. Check out the teaser trailer after the jump and let us know what you think.
