New to Theatres This Weekend: Tomb Raider, 7 Days in Entebbe, Love, Simon

It’s looking like another lacklustre weekend for new movies with the biggest release of the week being Tomb Raider, the latest video game adaptation to apparently continue the long streak of big screen disappointments. Also in wide release we have the gay teen love story Love, Simon, as well as José Padilha’s real-life hijacking thriller 7 Days in Entebbe and the faith-based drama I Can Only Imagine. Even in limited release it is pretty slim pickings, the most noteworthy titles being Max Winkler’s Flower starring Zoey Deutch, Furlough starring Tessa Thompson and Anna Paquin, and the British war drama Journey’s End starring Paul Bettany and Sam Claflin. What will you be watching this weekend?
