New to Theatres This Weekend: The Shape of Water, The Disaster Artist, Wonder Wheel

December is here and we’ve got a handful of interesting awards contenders entering theatres, unfortunately none of them are accessible if you’re outside of a major market. James Franco’s very funny and inspiring The Disaster Artist debuts on 19 screens while Woody Allen’s Wonder Wheel hits 5 theatres and Guillermo del Toro’s The Shape of Water is starting its theatrical run in just 2. There are no wide releases to speak of, but Disney’s live-action Beauty and the Beast is getting a re-release this weekend along with James Cameron’s Titanic, which is celebrating its 20th Anniversary. And if you’re looking for something completely different, the low budget Canadian action-comedy Another WolfCop is also playing limited engagements. What will you be watching this weekend?
