Jay is so over reviewing these middle of the road turds and bloated blockbusters. He is totally checked out. And I don’t disagree. About 80% of what they have reviewed in the past 2 years, I haven’t seen and have no interest in ever seeing. No thanks Mummy. I don’t think so BvS:DoJ. Kiss my ass Transformers 5(!). Independence Day 2? Are you kidding me.

And yet where most of the good stuff has been happening, TV, they constantly put down.

They need to change with the times. No more blockbuster schlock, and more TV and smaller budget fare.

Film Junk is fucked.

But seriously love the show. You three and guests have given me Thousands of hours of chuckles and thought provoking film critique. Long live Film Junk! It’s just film is changing with the digital era. The best stuff isn’t playing at the local Cineplex anymore.

Gotta give the edge to the Baumbach-less Gerwig on Lady Bird vs. the Gerwig-less Meyerowitz Stories. Both were fun, but Lady Bird feels way more special.

On the movie side, totally agree with you guys about Orient Express. It’s pretty boring. Opening 10-15 minutes is promising and then it really peters out after that. I don’t blame you for falling asleep.

Was hoping to but it seems to be disappearing from theatres already instead of expanding. It is playing near me but tonight is the last night.

Either way, the first two weeks of December have no major releases in theatres so we’re hoping to catch up with things like this and/or Three Billboards, The Florida Project, The Square and Lady Bird.

You guys should check out heaven knows what by the safdie brothers also, some of the same actors appear in Good Time. That movie is definitely worth a watch. Might not be as good but still a great movie in my opinion, its almost like an american trainspotting.
