Yeah, The Wicker Tree is awful. I was shocked to see Hardy was the director of it. It’s closer in quality to the Nic Cage Wicker Man.

It helps that there are five different versions of the thing, so you can pick and choose and have a different experience each time. Personally I can’t even remember which version I’ve seen when.

Forget Irish accent. If you want to hear a terrible Brosnan accent go watch his performance in John McTiernan’s debut, Nomads. One of the most ridiculous faux French accents I’ve ever heard.

I was actually reading some stuff after the show and it’s not the first time Brosnan has been called out for a bad Irish accent. Apparently he does a bad one in that movie I.T. as well as a movie from the ‘80s called Taffin. Not sure if those were supposed to be Northern accents as well though.

I don’t know why they insist on commenting about accents when they have insufficient knowledge about the regions involved to have an opinion. It sounded like Brosnan had been directed to do a Neeson.

Thank you for the podcast. I love the show but cringe when you guys talk about sexual assault in such a flippant way lol. Can’t wait for vampire 80s premium!

Frank noticed Chan’s abs but not his old man makeup? I didn’t notice his abs but I’m guessing they’re not fake, although I can see the strategy of making him appear even older than he is and then surprising viewers with a look at his great enhanced Chan body.

In defense of Brosnan, he’s doing a Belfast accent which is very weird-sounding and a little different from the typical Lucky Charms Irish accent.

Yeah, Charles Laughton is always the go-to.

Robin Hardy would be a close one with The Wicker Man if he hadn’t tried making a sequel fairly recently that by all accounts I’ve heard is terrible.
