New to Theatres This Weekend: It, Home Again, 9/11

After a couple of barren weekends to end the summer, things are finally picking up again this weekend with the release of Andres Muschietti’s new adaptation of Stephen King’s It. Current estimates have this movie tracking off the charts and potentially breaking opening weekend records for the month of September and also R-rated horror movies in general. If scary clowns aren’t your thing, we also have the Reese Witherspoon romantic comedy Home Again in wide release. In select theatres, look for the September 11th drama 9/11 starring Charlie Sheen, J.D. Salinger biopic Rebel in the Rye, and the latest anime feature from Kenji Kamiyama, Napping Princess.
