Fresh off the success of Annabelle: Creation, this week we’ve got the first trailer for the next James Wan-produced horror film which will hit theatres in January: Insidious: The Last Key. This is the fourth installment in the Insidious series and it supposedly a prequel of sorts that finds Lin Shaye going “deeper into the Further” as she investigates a haunting at her childhood home. Leigh Whannell wrote the script once again but will not return to the director’s chair this time around; instead relative newcomer Adam Robitel (The Taking of Deborah Logan) will be taking the reins. Insidious: The Last Key hits theatres on Jan. 5th, 2018; check out the trailer after the jump and let us know what you think.
