Mindhunter Trailer: Netflix and David Fincher’s Serial Killer Drama

After helping Netflix launch their first major original series with House of Cards, David Fincher is reteaming with Netflix for a brand new show called Mindhunter, which will also bring him back to a genre that he explored with movies like Seven and Zodiac. Based on the book Mind Hunter: Inside FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit by Mark Olshaker and John E. Douglas, the show revolves around two FBI agents (Jonathan Groff and Holt McCallany) who interview imprisoned serial killers in order to try to solve other active cases. Fincher will direct a handful of episodes along with Tobias Lindholm (A Hijacking), Asif Kapadia (Senna, Amy) and Andrew Douglas (The Amityville Horror). Charlize Theron is also on board as a producer. Mindhunter premieres on Netflix on Oct. 13th; check out the full trailer after the jump and see what you think.
