Triple Threat Trailer Starring Tony Jaa, Iko Uwais and Tiger Chen

When it comes to action movies, it’s rarely enough these days to have just one marquee star leading the way. Fans expect to see ensembles full of well-known fighters teaming up and facing off against each other, as seen in recent Hollywood franchises like Fast & Furious and The Expendables. Now Shanghai Aurora Alliance and SC Films have assembled an impressive line-up for their own upcoming film Triple Threat, which brings together Tony Jaa (Ong-Bak), Iko Uwais (The Raid: Redemption) and Tiger Chen (Man of Tai Chi) as a team of mercenaries trying to stop professional hitmen from killing a billionaire’s daughter. Directed by Jesse V. Johnson (The Package, Green Street Hooligans 2), the movie also co-stars Scott Adkins, Michael Jai White, Michael Bisping and JeeJa Yanin. Triple Threat will hit U.S. theatres sometime in 2018; check out the first trailer after the jump and see what you think.

They better not fuck this up. I miss the days when an action movie like this would get a wide release.
