After the success of the first two Pitch Perfect movies, I don’t think anyone will be surprised to learn that there is a third installment on the way, bringing the Bellas back together for one last hurrah. Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Hailee Steinfeld and the rest of their crew reunite for an overseas USO tour, but now there is a new rivalry to contend with. Ruby Rose fronts an all-female rock group that, in a surprise twist, plays actual instruments. Elizabeth Banks also reprises her role as Gail but was unable to return to the director’s chair due to scheduling issues. Instead, Pitch Perfect 3 is directed by Trish Sie (Step Up All In) and it hits theatres on Dec. 22nd. Check out the first trailer after the jump and see what you think.
