Aside from a brief appearance in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Indonesian actor and martial arts star Iko Uwais’ career hasn’t really exploded following his performances in The Raid and The Raid 2. And with Gareth Evans claiming that The Raid 3 is still at least a few years off, fans have been left jonesing for their next fix. Fortunately, we’ve got one movie hitting theatres very soon that should scratch that itch. Headshot (not to be confused with the 2011 Thai action film of the same name) is directed by Kimo Stamboel and Timo Tjahjanto (Macabre, Killers, the “Safe Haven” segment from V/H/S 2) and stars Uwais as an amnesiac whose dark past comes back to haunt him. It may not have the same level of buzz surrounding it as The Raid movies did, but the trailer does look pretty badass.
