    Rocky IV has been seriously overlooked as a Christmas movie. After rewatching today, I noted it a has a Christmas Day fight, an Alvin and the Chipmunks Christmas song, snowy landscapes and mention of reindeer. And, it was released in theatres on November 21, 1985.

    Was really struck by your discussion of the Force in this film (I am WAY behind, sorry)…

    One of the biggest aggravations I had about this film (and I had many) was that at Celebration in Anaheim in 2015 Gareth Edwards specifically said that a major element of this film would be a rebellion coming to grips with the idea that the Jedi are simply not coming to save them.

    I think there was a much better film here before Disney fucked it up.
